The joinery and the stone are usually the two biggest line items, and they vary enormously with what you choose. Removing a wall adds a beam and structural work on top. We price the building side clearly and separate it out so you can see what is what.
Usually two to three weeks, with a gap in the middle while stone is templated and fabricated. We can set up a temporary bench and get the fridge running elsewhere so it is manageable rather than miserable.

It is tempting to spend the budget on the visible things, the stone and the tapware and the handles. Those matter, but they are not what makes a kitchen good to use. Bench run, the distance between sink, cooktop and fridge, and whether two people can pass behind each other are what you notice daily.
We start with those, then work out what is left for finishes. It is the opposite order to how most kitchen quotes are put together and it produces a better room.
If You Are Also Thinking of Opening It Up
