Why Waterproofing Is the Whole Job
Everything visible in a bathroom sits on top of a membrane you will never see again once the tiles go on. If that membrane is not continuous, not turned up the walls far enough, or not given time to cure, the room will fail regardless of how good the tiling looks.
It is the single most common corner cut in bathroom work, because it is the one nobody can inspect afterwards. We treat it as the stage the rest of the job waits on rather than something to get past.
