It depends entirely on size and complexity. A bin enclosure or a run of post-and-rail fencing is a small job; an outdoor bar or a studio is a bigger one. We price it in writing once we have talked through what you are after.
Not to get a quote. A description or a photo of something similar is enough for us to price it. If the structure is large enough to need a permit we will tell you, and drawings become part of that.
Outdoor bars with corrugated roofs, screened bin enclosures, post-and-rail fencing across rural frontages, timber garden edging and handrails down steep driveways, and built-in structures inside the house such as feature walls and joinery surrounds.
Small structures generally do not. Anything with a substantial roofed area, or close to a boundary, may. It is a quick check and we do it before quoting.
Usually. Picking up a roof pitch, a timber species or a paint colour from the house or an existing structure is what stops a one-off build looking like it landed there separately.
